The highly-anticipated”No Time to Die,” Daniel Craig’s final film as James Bond, debuted an action-packed new trailer Thursday.
The trailer immediately kicks off with James Bond escaping death yet again by dodging a car coming toward him at full speed. The almost three-minute long trailer gives fans another look at the film’s villain, Safin (Rami Malek); shows Bond back in his classic tuxedo effortlessly fighting off bad guys; and reveals more of Bond’s relationship with his new female 007 counterpart (Lashana Lynch), whom he refers to as a “disarming young woman.”
Plenty seems to be at stake in “No Time to Die” as Bond rushes to foil Safin’s master plan – if he doesn’t, “there will be nothing left to save.”
The trailer also gives viewers a peek at the new Bond girl, Ana de Armas as CIA officer Paloma who is very impressive at taking down villains.
Several Bond alums return in “No Time to Die,” including his love interest Dr. Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), Bond’s boss M (Ralph Fiennes), assistant Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris as), tech guru Q (Ben Whishaw), and MI6 officer Bill Tanner (Rory Kinnear).
The latest Bond flick finds Craig’s secret agent retired and enjoying the good life in Jamaica. It doesn’t last, of course: His old CIA friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) arrives asking for help, and the mission puts Bond on the trail of a mysterious bad guy (Malek) armed with dangerous new technology.
Craig’s final Bond film was postponed from its original April release date to Nov. 12 in the U.K. and Nov. 25 in the U.S due to the coronavirus.
The 52-year-old actor told USA TODAY in November that “No Time to Die” will be his last Bond movie.
“I’ve had a really good run, and I think doing this movie was the right thing to do,” Craig said. “It was the right thing to do one more.”
