Susan Boyle returns with other fan favorites for ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’

If you dreamed a dream for a Susan Boyle comeback, you’re in luck.

The golden-voiced Scottish singer, who became an unlikely viral star in 2009 with her rendition of a “Les Miserables” classic on “Britain’s Got Talent,” is returning to the franchise that made her famous with “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”

NBC’s first winter edition of the popular talent competition premieres Jan. 7 (Mondays, 8 EST/PST) and will bring together 50 fan-favorite acts to compete against each other, hailing from global iterations of the series including “AGT,” “Britain’s Got Talent” and “Australia’s Got Talent.”

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Terry Crews fills in for Tyra Banks as host, joining returning celebrity panelists Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.
