Award season is just right around the corner and soon countless stars will be thanking God and The Hollywood Foreign Press Association at the 2022 Golden Globes.

The nominees were revealed at a press conference on Monday, Dec. 13 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ceremony is set to be held on Jan. 9, 2022, however, the show faces an uncertain future as NBC has decided not to air the telecast.

The mega-network cut ties with the organization and will not be involved in next year’s awards show upon deciding its parent corporation, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, needs “meaningful reform.”

NBC announced the news back in May, issuing the statement, “We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”

The HFPA has received much backlash for its lack of Black members. Following an explosive LA Times story published earlier this year about the scandal, 21 new members, (six of whom are Black), were invited to secure HFPA membership.

The Golden Globes organization fell into more deep water when former president Phil Berk was ousted in April following a leaked email that called Black Lives Matter a “hate movement.”

Here is the official list of nominees for the 2022 Golden Globes:
