resh off his Saturday night performance at the Grand Ole Opry, Garth Brooks revealed the final details for a concert at a much larger venue – Notre Dame Stadium.
Brooks will headline the approximate 80,000-seat venue at p.m. Oct. 20. Brooks’ show is the first concert ever held at the 88-year-old football facility.
Brooks confirmed the date for his show, originally announced in general terms last month, Monday morning on Twitter.

Tickets for the event go on sale at 9 a.m. Sept. 14. The concert will be in-the-round staging.
Tickets are $98.95 including fees and will only be available through Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, or by calling 1-800-745-3000. There is an eight-ticket limit per purchase and the concert will be rain or shine. The event is sponsored by Amazon Music.
Free album download
Brooks made another announcement during a Monday visit to Notre Dame. His upcoming live album, titled “Triple Live,” will be initially released as a free download.
A limited number of downloads will be available for desktop or laptop computers only.
All that’s needed is a code to enter at Ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks. The code will be released at 7 p.m. ET Monday during Brooks’ weekly Facebook series titled “Inside Studio G.”
Twenty-six songs will be available for free. This initial version of “Triple Live” gives listeners the chance to choose among sound mixes that emphasize Brooks and his band or ones that emphasize audience sing-alongs and cheering.
